About Green Energy Products, LLC

Green Energy Products was founded by Tim Lipetzky in the southwest Minnesota town of Springfield. Tim has always been fascinated by the idea of renewable energy and he can attest to the benefits of renewable energy as he has installed two wind generators and a solar tracking system in his backyard. He hopes to pass on his passion for renewable energy through Green Energy Products to other people not only to improve their standard of living, but also to improve the world around them.

Whether you’ve already made a decision to switch to renewable energy or you’re unsure if it is right for you, Green Energy Products has your best interest in mind. We are available for free consultations and site assessments to discuss whether or not wind or solar energy would be a good fit for your farm, household, or business.

Green Energy Products would like to remind all prospective customers that any installations will need prior clearance by city and county offices. All zoning permits and ordinances must be followed before any groundwork can begin. It is the responsibility of the property owner to make sure all permits and state and federal regulations are followed.

A grid-tie system is offered, which is built into the wind turbines and solar panels. This means if your house requires more energy than your turbine or solar panel produces, then your house draws from the utility. However, if your turbine produces more power than you use, it may run your meter backwards (net-metering) and feed power back to the utility. Green Energy Products encourages all property owners to discuss net-metering with their utility prior to installation.

For installations, Green Energy Products has previously worked with
